Team Information/Qualifications:  Hello, my name is Corbin Bell.  My Assistant Coaches and I, for the sake of our current team’s development, are expanding both of our U-11 Competition Soccer Teams (Strikers-CB RED (A team) & Strikers-CB WHITE (B-team)) in the Southern Weber & Northern Davis County area for the Fall 2014/Spring 2015 soccer year (U12). Where at U-11we had 8 on the field and 10 on the roster for each team, at U-12 we will now have 11 on the field and 14-15 on the roster for each team.  I have coached many years at the State Amateur level (Men’s Division 1, 2, & Premiere), the past 7 years in AYSO (girl’s), and the past 2 years at UYSA State levels.  As such we are looking for some additional quality girls and quality players to add to our team.  This brochure information may seem a bit much, but the truth is this is who I am, I have dedicated my life with preparation to be the most effective that I can be in assisting today’s youth in realizing their amazing potential (Please see a short synopsis of my resume and experience to arrive at the point to be able influence today’s youth in this positive manner).  I currently hold a USSF national “C” license (2004), one license above the average unpaid club soccer coach).  Mandolin Martini and Jon currently hold a USSF national “D” license , and all other assistant coaches hold a USSF national “E” license and have played College soccer.  Most of our 2 teams coaches have played soccer since age 5 and competitive soccer from age 10 and throughout high school, and later at an adult state or college level.  We welcome any questions and interest in your daughter’s try-out.  Our current home practice field is centrally located at Golden Spike Park (GSP) in Riverdale, right off of the I-15 and Riverdale Road connection.

Additional Strikers-CB Information:

Expectations:  There are significant time and financial commitments to playing competitive soccer.  Competitive soccer almost always offers better coaching, training, and opposing player skill level to test against.  If your daughter does try-out and make the team, here are some details regarding time and financial commitments:

Financial Commitment:  The estimated cost for the 2014-2015 soccer year is between $650-$770 total for all expected fees and costs (3 to 10 x’s less than other competitive soccer options/clubs in Utah).  Please know this figure may increase in coming years by another $100 or so as we sign up for a few more tournaments and possibly qualify for State Cup play.
The bulk of the costs will occur around mid-June (21^st), with other costs coming due periodically throughout the soccer year.

The following is a typical schedule for the next 6-7 months of play, what to expect in the summer and fall seasons.

Note that we begin practice on July 8^th, to begin for our summer friendly tournaments, to thereby prepare for our other club sponsored tournaments the first few weeks of August, to thereby prepare for our Fall Season the third week of August (the week after the Strikers Cup).  Last year we had a 12 week summer homework program and a 12 week winter homework program; this year you will see similar weekly expectations, but we will pull it back to 9 weeks of homework in each season.  Last year we didn’t break from the fall season and started right into indoor Oct 26^th.  This year we will break for November and most of December, and start indoor in the second session (around the last week of December).  I do plan to play the last two sessions of indoor in January, February, and March; instead of the first two sessions in November, December, & January.
